Watermelon Fun

My daughter and I went to the book launch for "Where the Watermelon's Grow" by Cindy Baldwin last night. LOVED the book and the book launch!!

One day I was thinking about the book and it's author. I pulled out my Silhouette and created some images that I print on cardstock. I love the watermelon slices and how they make me think of those summer days.

I love having a few simple cards to send a quick "Hello" to a friend.

Summer Update

We've been a bit busy enjoying our summer, but I thought I'd take a short break and post some pictures.
Aunt Cindy gave Baby AE this adorable headband

Fourth of July

All decked out

Momma couldn't pass up this adorable outfit.

Our friends, Alisha and Ms V gave us these little violets that went perfectly.

We recently discovered this little birthmark that resembles a butterfly according to Ms A. Her hairs are blond there too.

Ms A wanted to coordinate outfits with Baby AE.

Cuddling Time

All snuggled up

I'm lovin' the huge daisy.

Ms A **LOVES** her little sister

All dressed up for church

Love Baby AE looking at her big sister.

Soccer Camp

Our summer officially began this week with Soccer Camp via our Park and Recreation (which I love). Ms A was so excited, especially when she saw Ms J on their first day. She loved learning how to toe stop, pass the ball and play games like clean the junkyard (kicking all of the soccer balls to the opposing side before the time up) and sharks and minnows ("minnows" trying to get their soccer ball to the opposite side before they get tagged by the "sharks"). She loved being the shark. They also had several scrimmage games with each other. Ms A was pretty good at being the goalie and cheering Ms J as she made the goals.
