Honey Bee Fall Beauty bouquet

I love this gorgeous floral bouquet from Honey Bee Stamps. I spent a couple of hours coloring it over the weekend. It's going to a dear friend and her sweetie to thank them for their love and support. I love mums and Fall. The colors of Fall are so lovely. The air is so crisp. It makes my heart happy to watch the leaves change their gorgeous colors. It's so fun coloring this beautiful bouquet in lovely Autumn colors.

Avery Elle Windmill

I saw this at the store when my mom took me to Whimzee's to get some goodies. When I saw Avery Elle "Windmill", I fell in love!! No idea why, it's not my normal style, but I love it. I had fun with the windmill moving with the brad.

I have a friend who surprised me with an unannounced visit. She said in essense "God told me to stop by. I don't know why and I've been putting it off, but He would LET ME ALONE, so here I am." I was so touched and felt God's love. She was my angel that day and helped me in so many ways. I wanted to send her my thanks and something to cheer her and let her know she was my angel.

Mother's Day Flowers

I stamped and fussy cut a bunch of flowers from Stampin' Up's Watercolor Garden. I had fun building bouquets and butterflies. I still have a few more flowers.

Now I have a stash of Mother's Day cards for some of the amazing women in my life.

Happy Birthday

My youngest niece is turning FIVE this weekend. I made her this shaker card for her birthday. My girls were having fun testing it out and enjoying the sparkles. Lawn Fawn's Upon a Star worked perfectly. Their littlest one is our special little angel, so I added the moon. I tried to figure out a way to get her age on the card. I love the glittery "5" in the heart star.

I made bunnies for the family.
She loves pink, which fit perfectly with Lawn Fawn's Color Challenge.

Pinstripe Sunshine

After Lydia's amazing day three of the Altenew Academy, I practiced with a few colors and had a bunch of flowers that needed a home. I put this bunch of flowers on my card and the card looked a little bare. I saw Altenew's Pinstripe set, I had my inspiration and my wish list grew. :) Since I didn't have the set, I used my Mini Misti for a straight edge. I added some buds to cover a little slip-up. I love the finished product.

You are my Sunshine

I love to sing "You Are My Sunshine" to my little ones at bed-time. When I saw this sentiment with Altenew's Climbing Clematis, it sold me on this already gorgeous set. I love the gorgeous sunshine yellow flowers.

Climbing Clematis

I was testing out a new layout with my clematis. I really like them stacked with the little buds.

After Lydia's amazing day three of the Altenew Academy, I practiced with a few colors and had a bunch of flowers that needed a home. I have loved learning some new tips, tricks, techniques and layout ideas from the three layering classes I took.

You Are my Hero

I have a couple of amazing women I was thinking of while I was making some cards. I recently finished an amazing layering class by Altenew. I'm enjoying learning about my new Climbing Clematis set.

Thanks!

My oldest is applying to a private High School. She needed a few recommendations from her middle school teachers. I hurried purchased Mama Elephant's Book Worm set that I have been eyeing.

Her English teacher is a HUGE Edgar Allen Poe fan. It's hard to make a Poe-inspired card with this adorable set. I decided to do some shadows and have a one-eyed black cat from his "The Black Cat" short story.

Her Math teacher loves the color green. I had a fun time finding math inspired titles. I love my green striped wall paper.

Love Bug

I've had this sweet ladybug from Peddler's Pack sitting in my drawer for quite some time. I decided to pull her out and see what we could create. I used my craft knife to cut out a part of her hand to hold the heart. I love how she looks like she is blowing kisses.

Climbing Clematis

I'm taking an outline course at Altenew. It's been fabulous learning how to line up their gorgeous layering stamps and other helpful tips. I also love seeing all the flowers available.I received their Climbing Clematis for Christmas and adore it!!  Lydia featured Climbing Clematis and this card. I decided to give it a try. I need to practice more with my lining up, but practice and re-watching the short videos help.

When I was making my card, I used Lydia's suggestion of groups of three with the two largest flowers and the hearts.

I love the idea of a wreath of flowers

Practice makes perfect. I think I'll try a new color, too.

Valentines for My Four Year Old

I put up some Valentine's decorations and my littlest one was sure it was Valentine's Day. She requested a couple of cards for her teachers at church. She has continued to ask about Valentine's Day, every day. So sweet!

Chameleon Fun

I have been having fun with Lawn Fawn's "One in a Chameleon" set I received from my little four year old for Christmas. She was so excited to give the set to me and asks most days if she can play with the chameleon. I had a few paper scraps and circles that needed a good home.

Had some inky fingers, so I found a way to cover them.

Love my rainbow chameleon with the glitter, so does my oldest daughter. The sentiment is from Altenew's Halftone Circles.

I had a sweet friend who is struggling, I wanted to send her a reminder of how amazing she truly is.

Dodecagram

I stamped the cards, then added some colored with a couple of my colored pencils.

I love how you can fix little mistakes with some geometric flowers.
I received Altenew's Dodecagram for Christmas. I love the graphic look of the set and how the stamps work together. Altenew's January color challenge was so fun to try out the set for the first time.

I had few paper scraps of paper that needed some flowers. Perfect timing when my new set from Altenew Climbing Clemantis arrived. I love my new flowers and how they finish my cards.

Create Love

I received an amazing gift from Altenew. I purchased their Climbing Clematis set. I've had so much fun making flowers.

I had a few die scraps and had started a card with Simon Says Stamp Stained Glass Love. It needed a little more to finish the card.
