Mice on Ice

I had a joyful time creating with these sweet, little critters. My five year old was painting, so I grabbed two of her water-color markers to draw the ice and trees, then added my little mice to the pond.

Honey Bee Fall Beauty bouquet

I love this gorgeous floral bouquet from Honey Bee Stamps. I spent a couple of hours coloring it over the weekend. It's going to a dear friend and her sweetie to thank them for their love and support. I love mums and Fall. The colors of Fall are so lovely. The air is so crisp. It makes my heart happy to watch the leaves change their gorgeous colors. It's so fun coloring this beautiful bouquet in lovely Autumn colors.

Avery Elle Windmill

I saw this at the store when my mom took me to Whimzee's to get some goodies. When I saw Avery Elle "Windmill", I fell in love!! No idea why, it's not my normal style, but I love it. I had fun with the windmill moving with the brad.

I have a friend who surprised me with an unannounced visit. She said in essense "God told me to stop by. I don't know why and I've been putting it off, but He would LET ME ALONE, so here I am." I was so touched and felt God's love. She was my angel that day and helped me in so many ways. I wanted to send her my thanks and something to cheer her and let her know she was my angel.

Magical Birthday Wishes

I had a background already made that fit this sweet unicorn perfectly!

Butterflies and Flowers

I found this scrap of patterned paper with butterflies, so I decided to make a card with it. I used Simon Says Stamps Whimsical Flowers to make a background on the green. Added a few white dots and a birthday sentiment and it's done. I love easy cards like this one.

Birthday Kaleidoscope

I love this gorgeous Kaleidoscope center cut stamp from Simon Says Stamp. Coloring is such great therapy for me. I added some Stickles for a bit of sparkle, because everyone loves a bit of sparkle for their birthday.

Flower Wreath

I had some smaller flowers from Stampin' Up's Water Color Garden. I decide to try making a wreath with the flowers.

Out of This World

My youngest was watching me stamp Mother's Day cards and declared "Let's make a card" for Mr P. She picked Lawn Fawn's Out of This World set and asked for green ink, since it's Mr. P's favorite color. She was so excited!! She requested some glitter, so we added some!

Mother's Day Flowers

I stamped and fussy cut a bunch of flowers from Stampin' Up's Watercolor Garden. I had fun building bouquets and butterflies. I still have a few more flowers.

Now I have a stash of Mother's Day cards for some of the amazing women in my life.

Butterflies

I know a sweet girl from our church group who loves butterflies, so do I. I had some fun coloring the butterflies in our favorite colors with a bit of Wink of Stella. I cut and colored a copy of each of the butterflies to have them fly.

Follow Your Dreams

I had a few foxes left over from my nieces card, so I made another shaker card. Love the little family of foxes watching the night sky.

Star Cake

I wanted to participate with Lawn Fawn's Color Challenge this week. Love the pretty pink tones.

I decided to use my How You Bean - Star Add on. After coloring and placing the stars, I thought the bunch of stars looked like a cake. I colored and cut out the candle and added some Gold Stickles. I'm so pleased with the way it turned out.

Happy Birthday

My youngest niece is turning FIVE this weekend. I made her this shaker card for her birthday. My girls were having fun testing it out and enjoying the sparkles. Lawn Fawn's Upon a Star worked perfectly. Their littlest one is our special little angel, so I added the moon. I tried to figure out a way to get her age on the card. I love the glittery "5" in the heart star.

I made bunnies for the family.
She loves pink, which fit perfectly with Lawn Fawn's Color Challenge.

Pinstripe Sunshine

After Lydia's amazing day three of the Altenew Academy, I practiced with a few colors and had a bunch of flowers that needed a home. I put this bunch of flowers on my card and the card looked a little bare. I saw Altenew's Pinstripe set, I had my inspiration and my wish list grew. :) Since I didn't have the set, I used my Mini Misti for a straight edge. I added some buds to cover a little slip-up. I love the finished product.

You are my Sunshine

I love to sing "You Are My Sunshine" to my little ones at bed-time. When I saw this sentiment with Altenew's Climbing Clematis, it sold me on this already gorgeous set. I love the gorgeous sunshine yellow flowers.

Climbing Clematis

I was testing out a new layout with my clematis. I really like them stacked with the little buds.

You Are my Hero

I have a couple of amazing women I was thinking of while I was making some cards. I recently finished an amazing layering class by Altenew. I'm enjoying learning about my new Climbing Clematis set.

Thanks!

My oldest is applying to a private High School. She needed a few recommendations from her middle school teachers. I hurried purchased Mama Elephant's Book Worm set that I have been eyeing.

Her English teacher is a HUGE Edgar Allen Poe fan. It's hard to make a Poe-inspired card with this adorable set. I decided to do some shadows and have a one-eyed black cat from his "The Black Cat" short story.

Her Math teacher loves the color green. I had a fun time finding math inspired titles. I love my green striped wall paper.

Love Bug

I've had this sweet ladybug from Peddler's Pack sitting in my drawer for quite some time. I decided to pull her out and see what we could create. I used my craft knife to cut out a part of her hand to hold the heart. I love how she looks like she is blowing kisses.
