This was our first year doing Easter Eggs with Ms. A and she had a blast! She loves to have any reason to play in the water, so being able to put the eggs in the dye was perfect. She went a little overboard as she put the eggs in as many colors as she possibly could, but she came up with some uniquely colored eggs. Ms. A also enjoyed gluing the glittery flowers on her eggs!! It was a great success!

Fire Station #1
A friend of mine, invited us to join her and her children on a tour of a fire station. Ms. A has been dancing and Wahooing all week in anticipation. This morning we went. They gave us a heads up that they might be called away on a job and then the tour began. The firemen showed us their 'home' complete with a kitchen, work-out room, living room and sleeping quarters. The kids loved watching the fireman come down the pole. They spoke about the different apparatuses, vehicles, they use to help people. Just as the kids were about to check out the main fire truck, all their beepers went off and off they quickly went!!! We gathered up the goodies they left and escorted our children out. Ms. A and I were able to follow them part way on another job, as we went home. She loved watching the fire engine.
The remainder of the day, Ms. A was busy asking all sorts of fireman questions. For example, "Where did they go?", "Who are they helping?", "What happened to the people?" We also talked about other safety situations.
Thanks L for the fun and eventful morning!!! :)

Big Girl
Mom made little Thank You notes for the birthday girl to deliver to her special guest. At the last home, she wanted to be a BIG GIRL and deliver the card by herself. Mom held back and watched as her tiny baby was not so tiny. Suddenly tragedy, in her rush to deliver the card, she missed the step and fell, bending the card and scraping her hands. She was more upset about the card. My sweetie. The tears prompted her friend's mom to rush to the door. As she welcomed us into her home. Tears were forgotten as she was invited to frost and decorate cookies. Sadness turned to joy when she created and played with Ms. A.
Thanks E for the YUMMY cookies and Ms. A for playing with my Ms. A. :)

Red Ridinghood and the Big, Bad Wolf
Reed and Ms. A have started a new tradition at bedtime - Red Ridinghood and the Big, Bad Wolf. They take turns playing the roles. This time Ms. A was a little tentative to be Red Riding Hood, it was the eating/tickling part she didn't like. :)

Pixie Hollow Birthday
Ms. A's Tinkerbell Party was a HUGE Success!! We had a wonderful time decorating goodie bags with sparklies, markers and stickers. Tons of leaves, shiny rocks, feathers and soft cotton were gathered for fairy homes and gardens. Queen Clarion was so pleased; she had her messenger birds give some stickers to her helpers - GREAT FUN!!. Fairy berries, flower sandwiches, star toast with pixie dust and goldfish were delicious snacks. The Flitterific cupcakes and ice cream were enjoyed. The children loved dressing up. (I learned that I need some boy dress up clothes.)
Ms. A and her friends swapped presents and goodies bags with each friend. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Ms A, Ms K, Ms G, Mr. D and Mr A!!! We had such a great time spending time in Pixie Hollow with you!!! :)
