Monday was the King of Malaysia's birthday (
SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong's birthday is actually June 2nd), so Reed had the day off. We loaded up some belongings, called for directions and headed off in the pouring rain for our little adventure, mailing a package via UPS. What a Grand Adventure! :)

The rain was so heavy, it could easily drench someone standing out in it within a minute or two. Anyways, we set off following the directions we were given. Thankfully we found the store with the help of the UPS sign and not to much effort, a miracle for us. With the rain still coming strong, we took Ms. A across the street and left her within our sights, then Reed and I went to get our package. Ms. A looked a bit concerned when we returned. A salesperson was trying to talk to her and she had no mommy to hide behind.
Reed was quoted one price, but the shipping ended up being more. While Reed talked to their salespeople about the misquote, Ms. A and I watched the rain and people running from their cars to the shelter of the stores. After listing each item and it's worth and paying the higher price :(, we said goodbye to our belongings.
I've been following the tracking on UPS's website as it went to the Philippines, Japan and Alaska. Sara beat me to the punch this morning when she sent an email stating that the package arrived safely and is tucked away in our home. Sara, Reed and I were amazed at the quickness of UPS in sending our package. :)
