Kristina's 43rd Color Challenge

Have you ever had one of those moments of unexpected inspiration? That's what happened today when I revisited Ms. Werner's site. She has a new Color Challenge that I loved the colors (Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, Brocade Blue and Old Olive), but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it.

I have another project that's taken my focus, so I decided to not participate this time. Suddenly, this card popped into my head. Isn't she lovely. She's from Stampin' Up's Build-a Fairytale die cut set.

I've been playing with castles and put her aside, but today she was pulled out. :)

Kristina's 38th Color Challenge

I love Red and Orange together! Imagine my delight when I checked out Kristina's New Color Challenge - Ruby Red and Pumpkin Pie. She had to throw a wrench in my joy by adding Pretty in Pink. I love pink as well, but I had a DIFFICULT time with this one. I didn't like the baby card as much, so I made another one. I have another two card bases made, but that pink wouldn't work with me. Oh well, that's why it's a Challenge.

Here are the cards. Enjoy!

Supplies used:
Stamps: Bundled in Love
Paper: Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Misc: Scallop Punch, A Perfect Day Rub-ons, Merry and Bright Simply Scrappin'

Supplies used:
Paper: Ruby Red, Pretty in Pink and Pumpkin Pie
Misc: A Perfect Day Rub-ons, Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon, Flower Fusion and Fire Rhinestone Brads

I was hiding out in my closet stamping so I wouldn't disturb Ms. A, but somehow she sensed I was stamping. She wanted to make an "I Love You" card for her friends.

New Kristina Challenge #31

Kristina has posted another wonderful challenge.
I {heart} the colors!

We have a wonderful friend who is undergoing back surgery tomorrow, so the challenge was a perfect inspiration for her card.

Who wouldn't love this little guy?!?

I had a few leftovers, so I made another Christmas card. Not sure if I like it enough to duplicate.

Kristina's 25th Color Challenge

I've been following this AMAZING lady for some time. I love her creativity and personality. She's been posting Color Challenges for stampers. She reached her 25th challenge yesterday. CONGRATULATION'S Kristina.

Her challenge had perfect timing. I have a baby shower and a birthday coming up soon. I also wanted to try out an idea for our Christmas cards. Here are my interpretations:

Her color combination was Ballet Blue, Certainly Celery, Ruby Red and So Saffron. I fudged a little with the Christmas card. I used Green Galore. The stamps I used were Season of Joy (Christmas card), Cuddles and Tickles and A is for Adorable (Baby card) and Birthday Whimsy (B-day card).

You Make Me Happy

This morning, I asked Ms. A if she wanted to go to the park or craft. She said craft, so I grabbed my stamping supplies and we made cards.
I was so excited to see Kristina's Color Challenge this week.
After being separated from the bulk of my stamps and supplies for six months, I was able to have all my toys. :) Here's what I came up with:

Here are Ms. A 's and my card. Every time I pulled out a new item, she had to add it. She especially like the sparkling embossing powder. :)

Stamps: Boho Backgrounds, Friendship Blooms
Ink: Summer Sun Stamp Pad, Green Galore Stamp Pad, Rose Red Marker, VersaMark Stamp Pad
