Ms A has a favorite toy, her Cinderella Polly Pocket. She takes her everywhere, including bath time. Yesterday, tragedy hit: Cinderella got broken and she couldn't be repaired. My little one was inconsolable for quite some time. I hugged her and whispered sweet, comforting words, but nothing could stop my tenderhearted, little one from crying. Suddenly, I had an idea to build a new home for Cinderella to live in and Ms A started to calm down.
She lovingly added butterflies, flowers, hearts and glitter to Cinderella's home. She drew rainbows and hearts. She gave her tons of hugs and whispered loving words and kisses. We talked about how Jesus would take care of Cinderella and make her all better because that is what HE does because of HIS LOVE for us.
Gently she laid Cinderella on the two hearts. We closed the box and said our final farewells.
Goodbye Cinderella!
Thank you for being Ms A's special friend.
