Dahlia Thanks

Love Altenew's July Color Inspiration and my Dahlia Blossom set.
I love the bright, cheery colors.

Dahlia Bouquet

Dahlia's are my newest favorite flowers. Altenew has a lovely stamp set that I HAD to HAVE.

July's Color Inspiration is perfect for their/my Dahlia Blossom. I love the bright, cheery color combo.

I decided to make a small bouquet with some of the dahlia's in the set.

Thanks

I had fun with Altenew's Halftone Circles, some Distress Inks and Stickles. I love how the Distress Inks blend together and make a vivid and bright background.

Pinstripe Sunshine

After Lydia's amazing day three of the Altenew Academy, I practiced with a few colors and had a bunch of flowers that needed a home. I put this bunch of flowers on my card and the card looked a little bare. I saw Altenew's Pinstripe set, I had my inspiration and my wish list grew. :) Since I didn't have the set, I used my Mini Misti for a straight edge. I added some buds to cover a little slip-up. I love the finished product.

You are my Sunshine

I love to sing "You Are My Sunshine" to my little ones at bed-time. When I saw this sentiment with Altenew's Climbing Clematis, it sold me on this already gorgeous set. I love the gorgeous sunshine yellow flowers.

Climbing Clematis

I was testing out a new layout with my clematis. I really like them stacked with the little buds.

After Lydia's amazing day three of the Altenew Academy, I practiced with a few colors and had a bunch of flowers that needed a home. I have loved learning some new tips, tricks, techniques and layout ideas from the three layering classes I took.

You Are my Hero

I have a couple of amazing women I was thinking of while I was making some cards. I recently finished an amazing layering class by Altenew. I'm enjoying learning about my new Climbing Clematis set.

Climbing Clematis

I'm taking an outline course at Altenew. It's been fabulous learning how to line up their gorgeous layering stamps and other helpful tips. I also love seeing all the flowers available.I received their Climbing Clematis for Christmas and adore it!!  Lydia featured Climbing Clematis and this card. I decided to give it a try. I need to practice more with my lining up, but practice and re-watching the short videos help.

When I was making my card, I used Lydia's suggestion of groups of three with the two largest flowers and the hearts.

I love the idea of a wreath of flowers

Practice makes perfect. I think I'll try a new color, too.

Dodecagram

I stamped the cards, then added some colored with a couple of my colored pencils.

I love how you can fix little mistakes with some geometric flowers.
I received Altenew's Dodecagram for Christmas. I love the graphic look of the set and how the stamps work together. Altenew's January color challenge was so fun to try out the set for the first time.

Thanks

I had few paper scraps of paper that needed some flowers. Perfect timing when my new set from Altenew Climbing Clemantis arrived. I love my new flowers and how they finish my cards.

Create Love

I received an amazing gift from Altenew. I purchased their Climbing Clematis set. I've had so much fun making flowers.

I had a few die scraps and had started a card with Simon Says Stamp Stained Glass Love. It needed a little more to finish the card.

I Love

Altenew's September Color Challenge is a fabulous color combo. I used their Everything About You set. I thought I'd try my hand at drawing some trees after I blended the background with Distress Inks: Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberries, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn and Vintage Photo. My little three year old grabbed my Stickles in Green, Pink Taffeta and Christmas Red. She insisted the trees and heart needed glitter. She was so right. :) Love sharing my crafting joy with my little ones.

Also participating in Simon Say Stamp feature of Altenew.

Circles Panel

I wanted to try stamping a masked area with my Pattern Play Circle set for Altenew's September Color Challenge. I added a bit of glitter rose gold paper to frame the area.  It also fits in with Simon Says Stamp Stamptember feature of Altenew.

Good Friends

I love this color combo, so I decided to make another card for Altenew's September Color Challenge. It also fits in with Simon Says Stamp Stamptember feature of Altenew.

I had fun with my Distress Inks, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Mowed Lawn. I'm still learning the best way to blend the inks. The sentiment background reminds me of a friend who loves watermelon.
