Our former house had a small closet under the stairs. Ms A and her friends loved to play in it. They've grown a bit so when this house was designed we were excited to have the bigger closet under the stairs.
Diningroom Sheetrock. It's getting closer to those pretty finished walls. :)

Our New House Update

Here are a few pictures of the house being built from the prepping of the land to the second story being framed. It's been so much fun to watch it take shape. Ms A loves playing pretend in each of the rooms. ie: we watch tv in the movie room, she baked cookies in the baking center and she took her "class" on tour of the home.
Foundation dug out. There used to be trees hiding the fence, but they were too close to the house.

Foundation forms up and ready for the cement.

There's our foundation. The two parts in the front of the picture are the garage. The back portion is the house.

Crawlspace being made with posts and beams installed.

Garage fill put in

Decking is on the house with the framing prep started
First Floor Framing almost done.
First Floor frame and getting ready to put up supports and decking for the second floor.
This picture was taken in the morning.

I came back six hours later and this is what I saw

The framers took an extended weekend Friday through Sunday, but Monday they were able to frame the exterior walls for 75% of the second floor. The picture has the three children's bedrooms in the back, another bedroom along the right walls, two baths are inbetween the bedrooms, and the master suite in the front of the picture. The game room is by the stairs and the office to the left of the stairs.

First Day of School

Our little one is now a FIRST GRADER {She wouldn't let us call her one until school started}. Here are a couple of pictures from her first day and our special treat to celebrate.

Ms A's first day of school outfit. She loves "Tangled" and Princess Rapunzel, so I found the "Tangled" sun and "Dream" from the song "I've Got A Dream", cut them out with my Silhouette and then we painted them on the shirt.

At her desk

I found this delicious peanut butter frosting via. I figured Ms A loves peanut butter and chocolate, what a better treat to celebrate her first day of school.

She asked if I could sing her a "First day of school" song, when I finished, she grinned and blew out her candle.
