Airshows and Waterslides

Reed had a Group Party across from the airport near our home. We were so excited to see the jets and watch Ms. A play.

She was very excited to go down the waterslide. We were very impressed that she climb up the tall slide and actually went down. The look of terror on the way down was priceless. She also didn't know about the wave of water that would hit. Poor Girl! Reed got her out and when we asked if she wanted to try again, she said "No." She changed her mind a few minutes later. When she climbed up to the top, she remembered and panicked. We talked her down the back and quickly dried her off. I think she was the youngest one to go down the slide. :)

We also enjoyed watching the Thunderbirds practice for the airshow! I was like a kid getting so excited with each pass. {Yes, I'm an airshow geek and proud of it :)}

This weekend we enjoyed watching the airshow from our backfield. Sara and her children came to visit, so we enjoyed watching the show with them. Mr. P, Sara and Ms. A were ecstatic to watch. It was FABULOUS!!! :)

Recommendation

I have an amazing blog that I love to follow. I love to read her thoughts and stories as she and her family craft, live life and enjoy adventures in Morocco! I feel transported every time I read her blog. Ms T has started an Etsy shop and I'd encourage you to step on over and check it out. There are so many treasures and 100% of the profits will be donated to a local school in Morocco. Good Luck TravelingMama!!!

Goodbye Wishes

Goodbye, Panties!
I will miss you so much. You were with me throughout my potty training time. We shared trips to the library, zoo and parks. We traveled to Springfield Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore together. You protected me and kept me dry. We were inseparable, but I need to move on and start a new adventure with {bigger} panties. So we will throw a little farewell party, I'll say goodbye, give hugs and blow kisses as my mommy puts you in your new home with all my other special {too small} clothes! Thank you!!

Love,
Ms. A.

A {Little} Guest

Like a good little girl, I thought I'd made a fruit salad using our food storage supply. Little did I know that I would find evidence of a little guest! Yes, we have a Mouse in our House! I discovered it had eaten into a bag of beans and an unopened bag of wheat, but the greatest insult was the TWO bags of Chocolate Chips and my JASMINE Rice!! You just DON'T mess with my CHOCOLATE and RICE!!! I checked all of our other plastic bags to see if anything else was damaged. When I looked at the top shelf, I was a little confused. There was WHEAT in our bags of balloons. The little stinker was building a nest in our bag of BALLOONS! It's only been at it for a week because Reed and Ms A used some of the balloons for my birthday last week.

This little nest made my laugh. Isn't that what Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin taught last October General Conference? Find the humor and laugh it off! So have a little smile. :)
Ms A was a little tentative to go upstairs by herself after my discovery. I tried to use the logic that Angelina is a mouse. She quickly stated that Angelina was on tv, not in our house. She'd have nothing to do with that thought. I explained to her that mice are afraid of people... didn't work. I told her that the mouse wasn't in our home, but she refused to go upstairs unless she was accompanied by Reed or I. :)

Now everything is stored above our cabinets in the kitchen, so please ignore the boxes and food when you come for a visit.

POUFY!

Our conversation this morning went something like this:

Ms A: Mommy, I want to wear my poufy dress to church!
Me: But you have worn it the past two weeks. Why don't you try another dress?

Ms A: No, I want my Poufy Blue dress. It's so POUFY!
Me: But, you have other Poufy dresses.

Ms A: My blue dress is POUFY all by itself! I'll wear another dress next week I promise.

So she's in her *POUFY* dress once more.

Later on she asked: " Do I look like Cinderella?"
Now I know the real reason for the poufy dress! ;)

Taking a Walk

We have a new park within walking distance that is under construction. Ms A and I love to walk around it and see what's been done. We also like to watch the construction process. Ms A loves the HUGE trucks and asked tons of questions about what they are doing. Tonight I decided to take the camera along our nightly (at dusk) walk. Ms A was tickled when I started snapping pictures of her jumping off the bleachers. She giggled whenever I caught a picture of her mid-air. If I missed, she'd do it all over again. (I had a lot of those pictures.)

We also like the under construction part because the curbs are higher and Ms A loves to practice her balancing skills. This evening she walked back and forth without holding my hand! (Great job Sweetie)

I also noticed some wispy clouds in the sky. They looked so fascinating. I love watching the clouds go by.
