Newest Little Nelson

We had a little surprise earlier this year when we found out that I was pregnant! The pregnancy went well, minus a couple of issues. At a regular checkup (36 week), my blood pressure was a bit elevated. The doctor sent me to the hospital to be monitored. When my numbers didn't come down, they started inducing me. Two days later and after my doctor broke my water, I was wheeled in for an emergency c-section. Two minutes into knocking me out and our little one was safely delivered. We stayed in the hospital for a few more days and I was readmitted for high blood pressure numbers a two days after I came home. Thankfully, she and I are doing much better.

Baby Z was born on October 18th. She weighed 6 pounds even and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Here are a few pictures of our little miracle.

Halloween

The girls and daddy had a wonderful Halloween. Grandma, Aunt Sara and the girls made the cupcake costumes, since I was in the hospital a week before the Truck or Treat. They got so many compliments about their cupcake costumes.

Intel had a Halloween activity that we all went attended. I love that Reed's work has some great family activities.

Reed was so excited to finally have a pumpkin carving buddy. Sweet Pea doesn't like the gooeyness of the pumpkin insides. They had a fun time together. Sweet Pea joined in after awhile.

OMSI

My sister, Marika, and her husband, Tim, came for a visit. Tim loves dinosaurs and OMSI had an exhibit with dinosaurs, so we went for a visit. Cutie Pie was enthralled and ROARED loudly to each of the dinosaurs. Everyone had a fun time.

First Day of Fourth Grade

Sweet Pea was so excited about starting school and having **something** to do. She was a little hestitant about starting Fourth Grade and the math she needed to learn. She quickly got the hang of things. She loves her new teacher, Mrs. Powers.
"Four" Pancakes for breakfast. I forgot the four needed to be reversed to show through.

Our cupcake tradition. She helped frost them this year.
