Tent

One of my favorite childhood memories was the {{GIANT}} tents we would build that filled the livingroom or family room. Our new house has a gameroom/open area that has been begging for reliving and passing down the tradition of tents. Sweet Pea loved the tent with the "rooms". We ended up keeping it up for a couple of weeks {so we could show the cousins} and play in it.

Great Wolf Lodge

We finally made it to Great Wolf Lodge. {{LOVED}} the Howlin' Tornado!! Sweet Pea and Reed tried out all the slides, wave pool and other water parts and came to the conclusion, they {{LOVED}} the Howlin' Tornado!!

We also purchased a wand to go on quests. This year, we just lit up the crystals, pointed at the "animals" to make them move and opened the different boxes. It was a great getaway that we will be repeating next year!!

The water park wasn't conducive to photo taking, but we did take pictures around the lodge.

Violet the Wolf. She wanted to hold Cutie Pie, but she was asleep.

I love Sweet Pea's stance and showing off her goodies.

Landscaping

We found an amazing Landscaper, ELOC, thanks Melinda for the referral, and he has been turning our blah front yard into a piece of beauty. Even the gradeschoolers have been commenting and enjoying the new additions.

Here are a few pictures of what Dave and Kerry have done. I'll add the complete view when we are done.

Baby Update

Here's a little update on our newest little one. She's six months old as of September 3rd. She weighs 14 pounds 3 ounces and is 24.5 inches long. We've made it onto the growth charts. If we do her adjusted weight, she's in the 90 percentile. Her actual age she's in the 15 percentile. I checked out Sweet Pea's weight at the same age and Cutie Pie is 2 ounces bigger. We are doing something right. :)

Cutie Pie's been practicing her rolling to her side, not quite ready for volunteer tummy time. She also loves her jumper.

Here are a couple of videos of our little one.

It took several tries deciding which finger/thumb was the best, but Cutie Pie finally decided to suck her thumb.
