Pixie Party

In anticipation of our little Angel turning FOUR, we are throwing a Pixie Party. Ms. A found this adorable stamp set full of fairies while we were shopping a few weeks ago. We picked out some green ribbon because "Tinkerbell wears green. "

Friday I sat down to make her invitations. Saturday we delivered them. Ms. A was tickled to hand the invite to her friend and then the conversation went something like this:

"I'm having a Fairy Party for my birthday. We are going to have LOTS and LOTS of games for boys and girls. It will be so FUN playing all the games."

I guess I need to find some fairy game ideas SOON.

Math Protege

Reed has been teaching Ms. A addition with some math Flash Cards she received for Christmas. He's great working with her and her flash cards! :)
They wanted to show me her knowledge last night. I love the way she counts by touching Reed's fingers. If you listen carefully, you can her her sweet quiet voice. She's been having a hard time learning about zero and what the total is when you add to it. We had to explain it a bit and then she GOT IT!

What a SMARTIE!!

Froggy Treats

We were introduced to a wonderful preschool curriculum that has been fantastic. (Thanks J)

This month is all about Spring (my fav season) and Blueberries (another fav).

The other day we talked and learned about frogs. It was fun to watch Ms. A make her little frog friend, hop around the house and play a fun froggy game.

My favorite part was when her reaction to my suggestion of eating Froggy Snack ie, worms (pretzel sticks), bugs (raisins), flies (chocolate chips which disappeared rather quickly) and fish (Goldfish crackers). She didn't like the alternate names, but she enjoyed eating them. :)

Our Little Angel

I asked Ms. A if she wanted curly hair for church, she excitedly replied - YES! She did a great job at sitting still. As soon as I was finished, she ran to the bed and started jumping. I loved watching her joy as she played. What a blessing to have her in our lives. :)

I LOVE you, my little one!

Princess Castles

Stampin' Up introduced a new product in their newest catalog. It's called Build-a-Fairytale. (I used the princess silhouette in this card.) Since our little girl loves all things princess and fairy, I had to purchase it. I have to admit I was pretty excited about it as well. It comes with four 12 x 12 die cuts in coordinating colors. I had so much fun with it, I decided to grab some of my coordinating patterned paper and trace my own. Plus Ms. A loves pink and purple a bit more than the turquoise it came with.

I had way too much fun and spent too much time!

Here's some of the castles I put together.
Here's one of them framed. Ms. A excitedly asked if I could hang it in her room, but I think we'll wait for her birthday in just a few weeks. ;)

So I {HEART} this dragon! I still have the original chocolate dragon. I'm tempted to cut out a few more of him. :)

March Snow

Yesterday we were supposed to get a little snow, so I wasn't too surprised. Ms. A was SURPRISED and EXCITED! She danced as she sang songs about SNOW! Afterwards, she begged to play in the snow, but we had church and the snow was gone by the time we came home.

This morning as she was going downstairs, she excitedly yelled "It's Snowing!!" Within minutes she was ready to get dressed. The entire time she was dressing she was talking about playing in the snow. As I finished combing her hair, she asked once again if she could play outside. When I answered "Yes"; she replied: "Whoo Hoo! I get to play in the snow!" I think she was concerned about the snow melting before she had her chance.

I was a little disappointed to see my flowers surrounded by snow, after all it is March and Spring is right around the corner. I am grateful that we received enough for Ms. A to play in, but not enough to keep us home. :)

Hopefully Spring will come soon!!!!

PLEASE!!!! :)
